Iliana Inocencio is originally from Alexandria, Virginia. She's studied at The William Esper Studio, Upright Citizens Brigade, and The People's Improv Theater. She has a background in Musical Theater and has performed in a variety of musicals regionally such as Beauty and the Beast (Belle), West Side Story (Maria), Rent (Mimi Marquez), and Hair (Sheila.) She's active as a host and hosts the official podcast for The People's Improv Theater, The PITCast. In addition, she produces a variety of comedy shows for improv and sketch comedy in NYC.

AzN PoP! Debuts At Joe's Pub At The Public Theater


AzN PoP!, an all Asian, female, musical sketch comedy group makes their hour long debut at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater on Monday, November 20th. They recently wrapped up a successful eight month run of their twenty-five minute show, AzN PoP!: Live in Concert! at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City and Los Angeles. PBS Newshour praised their show for their biting satire with K-Pop cuteness. Their show at Joe's Pub is an extended version of this same concert.

First Time All Asian, Female Sketch Comedy Group Gets Show At Upright Citizens Brigade Theater


AzN PoP! is the first group of its kind to receive a run of their show, "AzN PoP!: Live in Concert!" at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. AzN PoP! is a comedy group comprised of Maya Deshmukh, Iliana Inocencio, Anna Suzuki, Angel Yau, and Ann Marie Yoo. All five members both wrote and star in the show. It is directed by Leslie Meisel, with choreography by Dave Mizzoni.
