mun2 to Unveil Online Original LARRY HERNANDEZ: EL PRESIDENTE, 8/18

August 5, 2013 - mun2 unveiled its online original LARRY HERNANDEZ: EL PRESIDENTE, a comical vignette featuring regional Mexican artist Larry Hernandez as the first Latino President of the United States. The four-minute video, presenting cameos by Telemundo's Maria Celeste Arraras and Jose Diaz Balart, is part of the cable network's season two premiere of its record-breaking series, Larrymania premiering Sunday August 18 at 9pm ET/8C on mun2. "Larry Hernandez: El Presidente" begins with mun2 host Yarel Ramos interviewing the award-winning artist on the social and political progress Latinos have made in recent years. Larry expresses how proud he is of the advancements U.S. Latinos have made, and shares his dream of being the President of the United States. He then falls into a humorous dream sequence showcasing what it would be like if Larry had the keys to the White House.

Last year, mun2 released its first comical vignette featuring Larry Hernandez as part of the series premiere of Larrymania. The tongue-in-cheek music video, "El Corrido del Ceviche" has drawn over 600,000 views via Youtube and mun2.tv combined since its 2012 premiere. Larrymania season one pulled 2.5 million viewers during its entire season and was mun2's #1 series in 2012.
