Makers of the upcoming sci-fi feature film The Phoenix Project will appear at this weekend's Wondercon convention in Anaheim, Calif. Director Tyler Pavey, producer Mike Mo, and producer and starring actor Orson Ossman will attend the three-day festival to talk with fans and discuss and promote the film.

The Phoenix Project is a psychological science fiction drama; a story that explores the motivations and ethical boundaries of the human mind. The narrative follows four scientists who try to reanimate deceased organisms while dealing with the internal balance of ethics, logic, emotion and ingenuity. Produced by the Ironwood Gang, The Phoenix Project was a breakout Kickstarter success of last year, and will be touring film festivals nationwide throughout 2013.

"We are a group of young filmmakers who have been collaborating for years and love making films together. We produce professional quality films that value story, character and truth, and we're doing it for a lower cost than the industry standard," said Pavey.

Look for Pavey, Mo and Ossman at the No Budget Film School booth inside the Anaheim Convention Center. Convention hours are Friday, March 29, 12 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 31 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets and more information are available at http://www.comic-con.org/wca.
