Adam Lambert powerful voiced and dramatically emotional, continues to stand out on American Idol this season, the younger Los Angeles based singer advanced and will now be a member of the top 10 finalists.

On the March 17, country edition of Idol, Lambert sang 'Ring of Fire' and will go on to the show's next week which also means he will be part of the show's summer concert tour. Lamber advanced even despite Simon Cowell's description of the performance as "self indulgent" and as "absolute rubbish."

Lambert performed 'Black and White' on the March 10 edition of the show and was voted through to the show's next week. He previously gave the Rolling Stones classic 'Satisfaction' a soaring spin on the February 25th of Idol and was voted through to become one of the top 12 finalists in the results show that aired tonight, February 26th on Fox.

The competition then heats up as those Top 10 finalists take the stage again on Tuesday, March 24 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed). Immediately following, America has another chance to share its voice and vote for their favorite finalists.

AMERICAN IDOL is created and executive-produced by Simon Fuller, founder of 19 Entertainment; and executive-produced by Cecile Frot-Coutaz, CEO, FremantleMedia North America; and Ken Warwick, Executive Producer, FremantleMedia North America.
