Violet Young to Appear In Nat Geo's Genius: PICASSO

This Tuesday, 6/5/18, 10PM EST, Violet Young appears Opposite Antonio Banderas, as Maya, Picasso's 13 year old daughter, in The Emmy Nominated, Nat Geo's Genius: Picasso.

Violet Young will be playing Picasso's daughter, Maya at age 13 on Nat Geo's Genius: Picasso opposite Antonio Banderas, in Season 2, Genius: Picasso this Tuesday, June 5, 2018, Episode 8, at 10PM on the NatGeo Channel.
The show premiered at The Tribeca Film Festival and Violet's episode was filmed in Malta, last March.

Season 2 of the Emmy-nominated series "Genius" tells THE STORY BEHIND Pablo Picasso, one of the 20th century's most influential, controversial, and celebrated artists. Also explored are the muses who inspired him. Starring Antonio Banderas in the titular role, hourlong episodes explore how the Spanish-born Picasso's passion and creativity were inseparably linked to his personal life, which included tumultuous marriages, numerous affairs and constantly shifting political and personal alliances.

Violet is known for her work as Picasso's daughter, Maya, opposite Antonio Banderas in NatGeo's GENIUS:Picasso. She played a principal role as a cancer SURVIVOR in the film Tri with Tim Reid and co-starred in THE HAUNTING OF Brett Cullen on Lifetime. Violet has done sketches on THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT and on SNLwith Andy Samberg.

Her theatre credits include Debbie in Billy Elliot the Musical at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, the leading role of Annemarie in Off-Broadway's Number The Stars at the Davenport Theatre, Charlotte in 13 the Musical at The Actor's Temple and Sour Kangaroo in Seussical the Musical among others.

Violet also sang a solo at age 10 at the acclaimed Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY singing Alicia Keye's song, "Girl on Fire" is an actor, singer and dancer based in New York and represented by Sinclair Management and Innovative Artists.
