Video: Watch Madonna's Full CONFESSIONS II Tribeca Film

Madonna has released CONFESSIONS II – The Film, a new short film directed by TORSO. The full film is available on YouTube following last week’s premiere at the 25th Tribeca Film Festival. Watch it here.

Confessions II is a visual work exceeding 10 minutes, and built around the first six tracks of Madonna's forthcoming album: “I Feel So Free,” “Good for the Soul,” “One Step Away,” “Bring Your Love” with Sabrina Carpenter, “Danceteria,” and “Read My Lips” with Feid. 

Produced by DIVISION and Powered by Dolce&Gabbana, Maverick and Warner Records, with music direction by Stuart Price, it unfolds as a single, continuous piece, weaving together interconnected, music-driven sequences. At the center of the film’s nightlife universe is a nod to New York club Danceteria. The film also features appearances by Kate Moss, Arca, Benedict Cumberbatch, Cole Palmer, Debi Mazar, Honey Dijon, Joao Pedro, Richard E. Grant and Shygirl, and more.

The film is described as "a transcendent journey that catapults the viewer through a fed-up night out that’s remembered not for what happened, but for how it felt. Madonna is ambushed, pursued, and ultimately worshipped by a roving squad of camera-wielding femmes. From the bedroom to the club bathroom, to the car, to the arena, and even into nature, they cruise the many spaces in which music thrives. Inside these sanctuaries, we discover reflections on dualities that have accompanied Madonna's entire career: privacy and publicity, grief and catharsis, intimacy and communion, fandom and collaboration. But everything always returns to the one, hallowed place that started it all: the dance floor."

Madonna's new album, Confessions II, is set for release on July 3rd via Warner Records. The new album is Madonna’s first in seven years and serves as a follow-up to the 2005 counterpart, Confessions on a Dance Floor. She played Eva Peron in the 1996 film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita, winning a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. She sang songs penned by Stephen Sondheim in the film Dick Tracy. Other acting credits include work in A League of Their Own and Desperately Seeking Susan.
