Sasha Alexander visited "The Talk" on Friday and discussed her nude scenes in the Showtime series "Shameless." She told the hosts "I was thrilled to go do it. It was a total departure for me. Very provocative, very different character, but yes the nudity part was really scary initially."

The actress also chats about her TNT series "Rizzoli & Isles" and tells the hosts that it has been speculated since season one that Detective Jane Rizzoli and Medical Examiner Dr. Maura Isles have a romantic relationship. "The woman Tess Gerritsen, who wrote the books, thinks they are not romantically linked but you can read into it however you want and so I think that people relate to it also as their sister or their mother or their really close friend," she explains.

CBS's Daytime Emmy Award-nominated talk show THE TALK features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities discussing current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, cooking demos with celebrity chefs as well as real-world advice and tips from leading experts in fitness, diet, health, home, relationships, finance and fashion. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer.
