This week's topics included the first GOP debate of the 2016 presidential election, the reaction in India after the government temporarily banned 857 pornography sites, an evaluation of Whole Foods' marketing strategies, and the discrepancies in sex education throughout the United States, including Last Week Tonight's own sex education video featuring surprise celebrity guests.

Other HBO playdates: Aug. 9 (2:30 a.m.), 10 (5:15 p.m., 1:30 a.m.), 12 (1:00 a.m.) and 13 (4:15 p.m.)

The show is the only weekly news-oriented comedy series to be presented on Sunday night. Taped in New York a few hours before it debuts on HBO, the show features a mix of Oliver's topical commentary on the previous week's events, pre-taped pieces and occasional guests.
