On this week's BLOOMBERG POLITICS, guest Jeff Daniels reprised his role as ACN's "Will McAvoy" from HBO's "The Newsroom" to answer questions on Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and the 2016 Presidential election. Check it out below!

Jeff Daniels was recently nomintated for a Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play for his role as Ray in BLACKBIRD.

Daniels won the Emmy Award for Best Actor as Will McAvoy in THE NEWSROOM. In 2009, he earned a Tony nomination for Best Actor in GOD OF CARNAGE. He won the Obie Award for Johnny Got His Gun and a Drama Desk Award for Fifth of July.

Daniels has written 16 plays, including Guest Artist and Across the Way. His films include The Martian, Steve Jobs, The Squid and the Whale, The Purple Rose of Cairo and Terms of Endearment. He has recorded seven albums of original material, including Never Gone Before.

Jeff Daniels and Michelle Williams star in David Harrower's Olivier Award-winning drama Blackbird. The production, directed by Joe Mantello, began previews Friday, February 5, and opened on Thursday, March 10, at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44thStreet). Blackbird will play an 18-week limited engagement through June 12, 2016.

BLACKBIRD premiered at the Edinburgh International Festival before moving on to London's West End where it won the Olivier Award for Best New Play in a production directed by Peter Stein. The drama was subsequently produced in New York by Manhattan Theatre Club in a production starring Jeff Daniels andAllison Pill, directed by Joe Mantello.
