VIDEO: Acts Advancing From the 'Duels' on WORLD OF DANCE

Last night was the Duels round on NBC's "World of Dance." Find out which dance acts advanced past the Duels below!

NBC's hit dance competition series "World of Dance" is led by a judging team of extraordinary dance superstars - Jennifer Lopez (who also serves as an executive producer), Derek Hough, NE-YO and host Scott Evans.

The series, from Universal Television Alternative Studio and Nuyorican Productions, gives dancers the platform to showcase their talents and the opportunity to receive a life-altering grand prize of $1 million.

In partnership with preeminent global dance brand World of Dance, the series brings the world's elite dancers together to compete in epic battles of artistry, precision and athleticism. Solo dancers will compete against duos and crews in an unlimited range of dance, including hip-hop, popping, locking, tap, ballet, break dancing, ballroom, stomping and more.

Advancing acts:

Fuego Dance Crew

Division: Upper Team

Hometown: San Diego, CA

Members: 5

Ages: 17-22

Style: Hip Hop

The Fuego Dance Crew was started when the guys were in high school and since then they have performed for over 40 Southern California high schools. This dance crew of Latin descent loves to cross the border into Tijuana and bring their "fuego" to the dance floor. This Latin hip-hop group started competing at different WORLD OF DANCE competitions across the country in 2016, and have been gaining recognition wherever they go.

Unity LA

Division: Upper Team

Hometown: Los Angeles, CA

Members: 10

Ages: 18-27

Style: Contemporary

Since its establishment in 1994, Unity LA has developed a tremendous reputation for giving performances that raise audiences to their feet. The group is led by their Emmy Award-winning choreographer, Tessandra Chavez, as well as Zack and Ashley, who are returning from Season 2 of World of Dance. Unity LA is at the top of their game and their biggest goal is to make it to the World Final so they can tour as a company, with hopes of selling out theaters and doing what they love to do...together.

The Heima

Division: Upper Team

Hometown: Seoul, South Korea

Members: 10

Ages: 21-28

Style: Breaking Fusion

This crew has taken the world of breaking by storm, with their Fusion of breaking, contemporary, and their own unique style. The Heima has competed and won several international competitions, and most recently they were crowned champions of "Battle is Over." They also placed third at both the BBIC All Style Performance and the Young Arts Silkroad For Performing. The Heima is known for their theatrical performances that often include masks to show their Korean heritage. The dance crew is ready for WORLD OF DANCE and is excited to show the judges something different.

Radiance

Division: Upper Team

Hometown: Los Angeles, CA

Members: 13

Ages: 17-22

Style: Contemporary

Hailing from all across the US, this strong, all-female contemporary team is comprised of dancers who moved to Los Angeles in pursuit of their professional dance dreams. During the day, they have to compete with one another at auditions, but at night they put competition aside and connect back to what they love - dancing as a team. Radiance is choreographed by one of Jennifer Lopez's dancers, Rudy Abreu, who competed as part of Embodiment in Season 2. This fierce dance group came together specifically to compete on the WORLD OF DANCE stage.

The Kings

Division: Upper Team

Hometown: Mumbai, India

Members: 14

Ages: 17-27

Style: Bolly-Hop

The Kings, who are known in the dance community for their high-flying tricks and never before seen stunts, may be the most famous group of dancers you have never heard of...yet. They are some of the most sought after choreographers in Bollywood and they have won almost every competition India has to offer, including "India's Got Talent." Additionally, they were the first team from India to achieve bronze medal at the 2015 World Hip-Hop Dance Championship. The 2015 Bollywood movie "ABCD: Any Body Can Dance 2" depicted their real-life story of trial and triumph. Their years of hard work and persistence have paid off as 'The Kings' of India have now come to WORLD OF DANCE to take the next step in their quest for world domination.

REDEMPTION ROUND

Exiles

Division: Upper Team

Hometown: Coolidge, AZ

Members: 6

Ages: 19-28

Style: Hip-Hop

Despite minimal dance competition experience, having only been together for a year, the Exiles have already experienced early success. They won 1st place in the 2017 Breakthrough Dance Competition and received the silver medal at Hip Hop International USA in 2018. Now, the Exiles are excited to keep the success train moving on the WORLD OF DANCE stage.
