VICELAND Renews Five Programs for Second Season; Announces Summer Slate

VICELAND, the new lifestyle and entertainment network from VICE and A+E, announced today that it has renewed five programs for a second season. Additionally, five new shows will premiere this summer.
New Shows Premiering This Summer: ABANDONED - Pro skater Rick McCrank explores abandoned landmarks and architectural remains around NORTH AMERICA with the people who once held these places dear. Premieres this summer. BLACK MARKET - In his most personal project to date, Michael K. Williams journeys into the dangerous world of illicit trade. Premieres July 5th at 10pm. CYBER WAR - Ben Makuch explores hacking and surveillance geopolitics with officials, social dissidents, and elusive hackers. Premieres this summer. DEAD SET ON LIFE - From $6 subs at gas stations to the most sought-after ingredients on the planet, chef Matty Matheson eats it all with his Canadian compatriots. Premieres this summer. VICE DOES AMERICA - Three VICE staffers set off on a road trip around the country to meet different kinds of Americans, learn about them, and do what they do. Premieres July 6th at 10pm.NOISEY - Zach Goldbaum takes us around the world to meet people and artists in the most compelling, and sometimes controversial, music scenes. WEEDIQUETTE - VICE correspondent Krishna Andavolu chronicles the science, culture and economics of the emerging "green" revolution.
VICELAND, which launched to critical acclaim in the US and Canada in February 2016, will launch in the UK and Ireland in September 2016, and France later this year. Currently, the network's original programming includes, WOMAN (with Gloria Steinem), Huang's World (with Eddie Huang), Vice World of Sports and King of The Road.
