Tony Hale to Host the Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards

Hamilton watches, known for their pioneering role in the worlds of aviation and cinema as well as their innovative timekeeping technology, and Los Angeles Confidential magazine, the premiere luxury, lifestyle publication in Los Angeles, host the 10th Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards on November 4, 2018 at The Exchange LA. The awards ceremony pays tribute to the brilliant behind-the-scenes talent whose individual work contributes to the quality of a motion picture and to the lasting impression that it has on movie audiences. Hamilton celebrates watch appearances in more than 450 films and television shows, most recently Amazon's "Jack Ryan". Films and creatives to be awarded this year include screenwriter Daniel Stiepleman for "On The Basis of Sex" presented by Felicity Jones, editor BARRY Alexander Brown for "BlacKklansman" presented by John David Washington, producer Graham King of "Bohemian Rhapsody" presented by Rami Malek, producer designer Hannah Beachler for "Black Panther" presented by Angela Bassett and sound editors Erik Aadahl and Ethan Van der Ryn for "A Quiet Place" presented by John Krasinski. Tony Hale, the award-winning actor and comedian of Veep and Arrested Development, will emcee the awards presentation.

Previous hosts of the awards presentation include Bellamy Young, Elisabeth R?hm, Matthew Morrison, and The Bachelor and Bachelorette's Chris Harrison, who were joined by an elite assembly of A-list actors and award-winning filmmakers to present these most illustrious awards. Awarded films represent the best in film throughout 2018 and are selected for their remarkable achievement in categories including cinematography, editing, costume design, visual effects and more. Past award presenters have included: Natalie Portman, Mel Gibson, Denzel Washington, Matthew McConaughey, Mark Wahlberg, John Legend, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, Channing Tatum, Steve Carrell, Emily Blunt, Ewan McGregor, Maherhsala Ali, Robert Pattinson, Lenny Kravitz, Jon Hamm, Harrison Ford, Zoe Saldana, Michael Bay, Casey Affleck, Antonio Banderas, Jon Favreau, Viola Davis, J.J. Abrams, Christoph Waltz and Diane Kruger, and more. Previous winners and noteworthy films have included Darren Aronofsky for "Loving", David O'Russell for "American Hustle", BARRY Jenkins for "Moonlight", Justin Hurwitz for "La La Land", Sandra Adair for "Boyhood" and Robbie Brenner and Rachel Winter for "Dallas Buyers Club", to name a few.

The honorees are selected from movies released during the year and/or qualified and presented at the most recent prestigious movie festivals of Cannes, Toronto and Venice as well as at the Festival of the American Film Institute.
