Tippi Hedren To Present at the 2018 Make-Up Artists And Hair Stylists Guild Awards
Legendary actress TIPPI HEDREN (The Birds) joins CARRIE ANN INABA (Dancing With The Stars) and actor JOE MANTEGNA (Criminal Minds) as presenters at the Annual Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706). The black-tie awards gala returns to the NOVO by Microsoft in L.A. Live on Saturday, February 24, 2018. The announcement was made today by Sue Cabral-Ebert, President of IATSE Local 706. As previously announced, Oscar®-nominee GARY OLDMAN will be honored with the prestigious Distinguished Artist Award. Oscar-winning make-up artist GREG CANNOM will join Emmy-winning hair stylist MARY GUERRERO to receive Lifetime Achievement Awards. Actress, TV host and authorLONI LOVE, who returns for the third year, will host the Gala.
Nominations for the MUAHS Awards were announced on January 5. Final online voting closes on February 16. Winners in 23 competitive categories honoring outstanding achievements in motion pictures, television, commercials and live theater will be revealed at the February 24 ceremony and live via Twitter (twitter.com/local_706, hashtag: #MUAHSawards).
