With "Dancing" and the season's No. 1 new drama in "The Good Doctor," ABC was the most watched network on Monday night (10.2 million) and nearly tied NBC for No. 1 in Adults 18-49 (1.9/7 vs. 2.0/7).

Please note: ABC's Monday lineup was preempted for local NFL coverage in 2.960% of the U.S.

"Dancing with the Stars" (8:00-10:00 p.m - 9.5 million and 1.6/6 in AD18-49):
From 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" took second to NBC's "The Voice" with Total Viewers (9.5 million). "DWTS" built on its week-ago Fast Affiliate delivery (9.1 million and 1.5/5) in viewers and young adults. Head to head, "Dancing" narrowed the Adult 18-49 gap with NBC's "The Voice" by 3-tenths of a rating point week to week (-0.9 vs. -1.2).

"The Good Doctor" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 11.5 million and 2.4/9 in AD18-49):
Building sharply on its "DWTS" lead-in for the 2nd week in a row at 10:00 p.m. (+25%/+50%), ABC's "The Good Doctor" once again ranked as the No. 1 series in its hour, beating runner-up NBC's "The Brave" by triple digits in Total Viewers (+113% - 11.5 million vs. 5.4 million) and doubling it with Adults 18-49 (+100% - 2.4/9 vs. 1.2/4). ABC's "The Good Doctor" is the season's No. 1 new drama in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49. "The Good Doctor" is currently even with its week-ago series debut in the Fast Affiliates Adults 18-49 and up 9% from its National rating (2.2/8).

• Biggest Gainer in Live + 3 Day Ratings: ABC's "The Good Doctor" opener delivered the biggest L+3 increase in Total Viewers (+5.5 million) for any new series debut on any network in 3 years - since the launch of ABC's "How to Get Away with Murder" (+5.9 million on 9/25/14). After 3 days of TV playback, ABC's new drama grew to 16.9 million Total Viewers (from 11.4 million in L+SD) and a 3.7 rating with Adults 18-49 (from a 2.2 in L+SD).

Projections Rationale:
Lifts vs. L+SD are based on the 2016-17 season for premiere telecast or an average for originals (excluding the premiere).
Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals).
New Series: Based on similar series.
