The Hollywood Museum™ Unveils 20th Century Superhero Legends Exhibit

"The opening of the Superheroes exhibit at the Hollywood Museum was fantastic! Seeing the Superheros in person was just icing on the cake," remarked Y&R star Kate Linder

DONELLE DADIGAN (Founder/President of The Hollywood Museum) and a celebrated roster of personalities including BURT WARD (Robin from BATMAN), ILYA SALKIND (Producer of SUPERMAN), and LINDSAY WAGNER (Jaime Sommers from The Bionic Woman) proudly unveiled this latest exhibit at The Hollywood Museum, while many took this time to remember the recent passing of the king of superhero creators, Stan Lee.

"The 20th Century Superhero Legends Exhibit at the Hollywood Museum is another wonderful experience that inspires & enlightens the minds of everyone who loves the Superhero genre," commented The Big Bang Theory's Alice Amter. Adding, "Getting to meet one of my childhood acting icons Lindsay Wagner from The Bionic Woman was a genuine, personal & memorable highlight of Opening Night."

Among those in attendance were Kate Linder (Y&R), Lee Meriwether (Batman), Alice Amter (Big Bang Theory), Sofia Milos (CSI Miami), Ieva George (Criminal Minds), Lee Purcell (Valley Girl), Cory Oliver (God Is Not Dead Yet), Miles Tagtmeyer (Broken), Meredith Thomas (Pajama Party), Celeste Thorson (Unsolved), Kacey Fifield (Game Shakers), Hunter Payton (Criminal Minds), Bryson Robinson (Manni), Brooklyn Robinson (Modern Family), Brandon Stennis (Y&R), Isabella Leon (Life in Pieces), Kate Thomlinson (Stuck in the Middle), Nathan Arenas (Bunk'd), Jailen Bates (Wits Academy), Meredith Thomas, Roy Samuelson (Voice over ), Miles Tagtmeyer (Emmy Nominee), and Academy Award winner, Margaret O'Brien.

The exhibit includes: Batman (Adam West), Robin (Burt Ward), Batgirl (Yvonne Craig), Superman (Christopher Reeves) and Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter) and eventually Lindsay Wagner (The Bionic Woman), who loaned her Emmy won for her role of Jaime Sommers on The Bionic Woman, which marks the only time an Emmy or Academy Award has been won for a action hero on TV of film. "The win (1977) was a huge surprise for me. I was opposite a powerful list of strong dramatic actress' (Angie Dickinson/Police Woman, Kate Jackson/Charlie's Angels, Sada Thompson/Family, Michael Learned/The Waltons) whose work I had and have great respect. I truly had not expected to hear my name called out," stated Ms. Wagner from the podium. Her comments about the roles of women over the years and their effects on other women at the time and eventually men, were well received by the audience. One young fan posted "Lindsay Wagner is my new icon. She moved me to visceral goosebumps, close to tears :) #LindsayWagner4Queen," - Andrew Vu Nguyen.

In addition to the life-like sculptures of Adam West, Burt Ward, Yvonne Craig, Christopher Reeves, and Lynda Carter. The Superman costume is the original costume that Christopher Reeves wore in the Superman (1978) movie. The Batman, Robin and Batgirl (Batman, 1966-69 ABC TV) and Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman, 1975-79, ABC and CBS) costumes are screen accurate replicas and were created from patterns of the original costumes.

Donelle Dadigan, President and Founder of The Hollywood Museum located in the historic Max Factor Building announced, "This exhibit will be the first time these life-like Superheroes will stand together Fighting Evil, and they will be at the Hollywood museum forever! This new exhibit includes key pieces of memorabilia and collectibles relating to these ever-popular Superheroes. Theres something on display for every fan from kids, to teens, to adults and seniors! This exhibit happily unleashes our childhood memories."
