THOR's Jaimie Alexander Joins Ryan Murphy's HBO Series OPEN

THOR's Jaimie Alexander is headed to HBO.

According to Deadline, the up-and-coming star has boarded Ryan Murphy's new project OPEN as a series regular.

Described as a "modern, provocative exploration of human sexuality and relationships," follows an ensemble of characters, played by Michelle Monaghan, Scott Speedman, Wes Bentley, Anna Torv, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Cheyenne Jackson.

Alexander will take on the role of "Claire, the postpartum-suffering, pill-popping Stepford wife of Evan (Bentley)."

Aside from THOR, Alexander recently appeared in THE LAST STAND. It was also recently announced that she had booked a guest starring spot to reprise her 'Lady Sif' role on Marvel's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
