THE MIDDLE Preview: January 12 on ABC

"The Big Chill" - Mike freezes Frankie out because he can't fathom how she inadvertently paid $200 for a small bottle of eye cream that she thought was priced at $20.  Meanwhile, Axl's fathering techniques are put to the test when he has to take care of a mechanical infant doll for health class, and Sue and Brick desperately search for a way to fix a hole that they caused in Sue's bedroom wall, on "The Middle," WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 12 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"The Middle" stars Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue, Atticus Shaffer as Brick and Chris Kattan as Bob.

Guest starring are Rick Overton as Obadiah, Rebecca Ann Johnson as saleswoman, Carolyn Wilson as woman visitor, America Young as Gap manager, Drake Kemper as Best Buy manager and Michelle Pascarella as Starbucks manager.

"The Big Chill" was written by Rob Ulin and directed by Lee Shallat Chemel.

"The Middle" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format with a 5.1 channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-PG,D parental guideline.
