According to The Hollywood Reporter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Steven S. DeKnight will now be in charge of Netflix's upcoming Daredevil series. Lost's Drew Goddard, on the other hand, will instead write and direct Sony's Sinister Six. Goddard will still be available for consultation, but his main focus will be on the Spider-man spinoff.

Daredevil's spin on television will follow Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage- taking Netflix members deep into the gritty world of heroes and villains of Hell's Kitchen, New York. Netflix has committed to a minimum of four, thirteen episodes series and a culminating Marvel's "The Defenders" mini-series event that reimagines a dream team of self-sacrificing, heroic characters.

Daredevil is slated for a 2015 release on Netflix.
