SNL Up in Ratings with Host Kevin Hart

"Saturday Night Live," with host Kevin Hart and musical guest Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, averaged a 4.8/12 in metered-market households. "SNL" scored the #1 rating of the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in metered-market households, topping all primetime telecasts on those networks.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, last night's "Saturday Night Live" averaged a 2.8 rating, 13 share in adults 18-49. "SNL" delivered the top rating of the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in the Local People Meters, more than doubling all primetime programming on those networks.

* In the Local People Meters, "Saturday Night Live" scored its highest 18-49 rating since January 26 (2.8 with a telecast hosted by Adam Levine with musical guest Kendrick Lamar) and matched the show's highest Local People Meter rating since November 3 (with host Louis C.K. and musical guest fun, 3.0).

Saturday Primetime Results:

* At 8 p.m. ET, "American Ninja Warrior" (0.5/2 in 18-49, 1.9 million viewers overall) ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49 and other key demos. "American Ninja Warrior" is currently reporting a three-week high in total viewers, with its biggest audience since February 9.

* At 9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Chicago Fire" earned a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 1.9 million viewers overall. This is the top 18-49 rating for a Saturday encore of "Chicago Fire" in four weeks, since February 2.

* At 10 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Saturday Night Live," with host Louis C.K. and musical guest fun, averaged a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 2.0 million viewers overall). The "SNL" encore grew from its first half-hour to its second in all key categories, including gains of 40 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 0.7 rating from a 0.5), 29 percent in adults 25-54 (0.9 vs. 0.7) and 20 percent in total viewers (2.2 million vs. 1.9 million). In the time period, the "SNL" encore was #1 or tied for #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34, men 18-34 and men 18-49.

Friday Primetime Results:

* From 8-10 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 5.9 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in the slot among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" grew by 36 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.5 rating from a 1.1), 31 percent in adults 25-54 (2.1 vs. 1.6) and 18 percent in total viewers (6.3 million vs. 5.4 million).

* From 10-11 p.m. ET, "Rock Center with BrIan Williams" reported a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers overall. Versus its averages on Thursday nights earlier this season, "Rock Center" matched its average 18-49 rating (1.0, L+SD) and was up 15 percent in total viewers (4.247 million vs. 3.697 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday night:

* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 3.0/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/5.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.7/3; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.

* From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/5 in metered-market households and a 0.6/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

* From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.6/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.1/4 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
