El Rey Network's THE DIRECTOR'S CHAIR & MAN AT ARMS Streaming Exclusively on VRV

El Rey Network's original series THE DIRECTOR'S CHAIR, hosted by Robert Rodriguez, and "Man at Arms: Art of War," hosted by Danny Trejo, are now available on VRV, a leading audience-focused aggregation platform featuring premium SVOD channels alongside a curated house channel, VRV Select. All episodes of "The Director's Chair" and the first season of "Man at Arms: Art of War" can be seen on VRV Select beginning today.

"'The Director's Chair' and 'Man at Arms: Art of War' lifts the curtain and presents a fascinating look at how things are made - whether it's beloved films or iconic weapons," said EL REY NETWORK President and GM Daniel Tibbets. "I anticipate that the VRV audience will embrace these series as enthusiastically as the El Rey audience."

"The Director's Chair" is a series of hour-long specials featuring the industry's most cutting-edge directors engaging in a revealing and UNEXPECTED exchange about the world of filmmaking with host Robert Rodriguez. Past guests include Sylvester Stallone, John Carpenter, Francis Ford Coppola, Michael Mann, George Miller, Guillermo Del Toro, Robert Zemeckis, Frank Darabont, Jon Favreau and Quentin Tarantino. "The Director's Chair" is produced by Troublemaker Studios and Skip Film in association with FactoryMade. Executive producers are Robert Rodriguez, Skip Chaisson, John Fogelman and Cristina Patwa.

In each episode of "Man at Arms: Art of War" a team of expert craftsmen skillfully reproduce iconic weapons and armor from scratch, using the technology that would have been available at the time such weapons and armor were originally created, as well as state-of-the-art technologies BEYOND the original forgers' wildest imaginations. The builders create historical, modern, and mythological works of martial art. Each masterwork is then tested by experts for its strength and real-world functionality. Whether it slices, shoots, smashes, stabs, blocks, parries, or disarms, viewers will get a first-hand look at what kind of force each marvelous masterpiece can unleash. "Man at Arms: Art of War" is hosted by Danny Trejo and is produced by DEFY.
