Telemundo announces Mexican reporter Miguel Gurwitz will make his first on air appearance on Telemundo today, joining its Emmy Award-winning team of experienced sports commentators.

Gurwitz is well-known in Mexico for his colorful reporting style and for covering the Mexican Soccer National Team for more than 15 years. He served as a sports reporter for Televisa Deportes for almost 20 years, covering leading events such as the FIFA World Cup (1998, 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014), the Summer Olympics (2004, 2008 and 2012), the Winter Olympics (2002 and 2006), Copa América (2004, 2007 and 2011), five Copa de Oro tournaments, the FIFA Confederations Cup, the Indy Light series, NASCAR, the Kentucky Derby, pre-Olympic qualifying tournaments and the Goodwill Games, among others.
