RATINGS: 60 MINUTES is Number One

60 MINUTES landed in the # 1 slot last week, drawing 10.25 million viewers according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, March 24, 2019.

It was the fourth straight week - and the 13th time this season - the CBS News magazine finished among the top five programs. It was the second time this year 60 MINUTES claimed the top spot on Nielsen's list.

The broadcast has been in Nielsen's Top 10 for 16 out of 21 telecasts this season.

60 MINUTES also made the Top 5 in the key demos, scoring a 2.3/08 in adults 25-54 to tie for # 2 and a 1.6/07 in adults 18-49 that ranked # 5.

Sunday's program featured Lesley Stahl's story on the controversial Israeli cyber-security firm that can unlock smart phones, Jon Wertheim's report on the increase of legalized sports gambling and a profile of actor Samuel L. Jackson by Steve Kroft.

Bill Owens is the executive producer of 60 MINUTES, America's # 1 news program.
