PREMIER LEAGUE SOCCER Returns to NBC Universo This Weekend

NBC UNIVERSO, the modern sports and entertainment cable channel for Latinos, today announced that its coverage of the 2015-16 Premier League season kicks-off this coming weekend and will feature a robust slate of matches beginning on Sat., Aug. 8 with Manchester United vs. Tottenham at 7:30a ET / 4:30a PT. The following match will be Chelsea vs. Swansea City at 12:25p ET / 9:25a PT. On Sun., Aug. 9, Arsenal takes on West Ham at 8:25a ET / 5:25a PT. Then on Mon., Aug. 10,West Bromwich Albion plays Manchester City at 2:55p ET / 11:55a PT.

Premier League matches will be telecast live in Spanish by NBC UNIVERSO and live streamed on the NBC Deportes EN VIVO EXTRA app for mobile devices.

The season kicks-off with a match between the 4th- and 5th-place finishers, respectively, in the Premier League last season, as Manchester United hosts Tottenham.

Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez has really been the big question currently lingering around the Manchester United squad. He has been at the center of a lot of trade rumors in "soccer circles" throughout the world. Speculation even has Chicharito going to Tottenham Hotspur, his current team's opponent for this weekend's fixture. Reports have stated that Tottenham, who finished fifth last season, might be looking to add to their attacking options. At the moment, there are several options looming over Chicharito and his future at Manchester United. However, his first order of business is helping the Red Devils start its season with a victory.

Tottenham's Hugo Lloris could finally be ready to take THE PITCH Saturday in the season opener against Man U, after suffering a broken wrist in pre-season competition. Despite having limited physical contact since suffering his injury, Lloris's participation will be a game-time decision just before kick-off.
