On EXATLON Premiere Week, Telemundo Ranks As #1 Spanish-Language Network In Weekday Prime Time Among Adults 18-49 & 18-34

During the premiere week of its sports-reality show "Exatlon," Telemundo outperformed the combined delivery of Univision, UniMas and Azteca Monday-Friday by +15% among adults 18-49 (777,000 vs. 678,000), and +35% among adults 18-34 (374,000 vs. 278,000), during 8pm-11pm primetime. It also ranked as the #2 broadcast network, regardless of language, among adults 18-34.

In addition, Telemundo ranked as the #1 Spanish-language network during 7p-11p prime among adults 18-49 and adults 18-34, according to Nielsen. The new reality competition delivered 973,000 total viewers, 473,000 adults 18-49 and 212,000 adults 18-34 in its daypart (7-9pm).

Additional prime time highlights for the week include:

  • At 8pm/7c, the second hour of "Exatlon" outperformed Univision's "El Rico y Lazaro" among adults 18-34 by +15% (248,000 vs. 216,000) while tying among adults 18-49 (544,000).
  • At 9pm/8c, "Sin Senos Si Hay Paraiso" ranked as the #1 Spanish-language program in its time slot, Monday-Friday among all total viewers (1,377,000), adults 18-49 (781,000) and adults 18-34 (398,000), and outperformed CBS among adults 18-34, Monday-Friday.
  • At 10pm/9c, Super Series™ "El Señor de los Cielos" ranked as the #1 Spanish-language program in primetime among all key demos, Monday-Friday, and ranked as the #2 broadcast program, regardless of language in its daypart, among adults 18-49 & adults 18-34, outperforming ABC and CBS.

Locally, Telemundo ranked as the #1 broadcast network, regardless of language, for 7-11pm in Los Angeles, New York and Miami among adults 18-49. In addition, it also ranked as the #1 Spanish-language network for 7-11pm in San Francisco, Orlando, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Tampa, and Boston, among adults 18-49.
