Olypmic Channel to Present LINDSEY VONN: A LEGENDARY CAREER

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA honors Lindsey Vonn, the winningest woman in alpine skiing World Cup history, with a special primetime series next week celebrating her historic career. "Lindsey Vonn: A Legendary Career" begins on Tuesday, April 16 at 8 p.m. ET and continues through Friday, April 19.

The series spans 15 seasons, showcasing 15 hours of archival coverage and 12 of Vonn's most notable races. The extensive coverage spans from her first World Cup victory in 2004 at Lake Louise to her final race at the 2019 World Championships, where she earned bronze in the downhill.

Vonn is among the world's most decorated skiers of all time. Over the course of her career, she won 82 World Cup races, which is the most by a woman and second-most all time, behind only Ingemar Stenmarkof Sweden. A four-time Olympian (2002, 2006, 2010, 2018), Vonn amassed three Olympic medals, including gold in the 2010 Vancouver downhill, where she became the first AMERICAN WOMAN to win Olympic downhill gold. Vonn is one of only seven women to have won World Cup races in all five major disciplines of alpine skiing - downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom, and super combined. She is a four-time winner of the overall World Cup title and won a women's record 16 career World Cup discipline titles.
