Noir Thriller PRONOIA Begins Production in New Jersey

PRONOIA, directed by Nick Efteriades (ASTORIA) has begun filming in Florham Park, New Jersey.

In this noir thriller a man and a woman wait out a rainstorm in a hotel bar somewhere between '"here and nowhere.' When the TV news reports the disappearance of a high-ranking Pentagon official, neither he nor she know of the ramifications it will have on their brief, seductive encounter.

PRONOIA stars Stelio Savante (Eisenstein In Guanajuato, The Making Of The Mob: New York), Hannah Jane McMurray (Halina), Lou Mastantuono (Amongst Friends) and Catherine Chadwick (Blue Bloods). Produced by Stavroula Toska and Athena Efter.

Efteriades' first feature ASTORIA was released theatrically in 2000, winning several awards on the festival circuit including two awards at WorldFest Houston.
