NBC's TAXI BROOKLYN Grows +10% vs. Premiere

NBC tied for the nightlong win in adults 18-49 among the Big 4 networks and won the night outright among those nets in total viewers, with time-period wins from "America's Got Talent" and "Taxi Brooklyn."
"Taxi Brooklyn" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) grew versus last week's debut by +10% in adult 18-49 rating (to a 1.1 rating from a 1.0) and by +1% in total viewers (5.367 million vs. 5.338 million), pending updates. Versus NBC's average in the time period last summer, "Taxi Brooklyn" was up +30% in total viewers (5.367 million vs. 4.134 million, L+SD non-sports). "Taxi Brooklyn" won The Hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, as well as total viewers, adults 18-34 and adults 25-54, plus all key adult-female demos. An encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.4/5 in adults 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) won the two-hour time period among the Big 4 in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures. "Talent" is up +8% versus one week ago in 18-49 rating (to a 1.4 from a 1.3) and up +3% in total viewers (6.345 million vs. 6.151 million). From its first half-hour to its fourth, the "America's Got Talent" rebroadcast grew by +60% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.0) and by +33% or 1.8 million persons in total viewers (7.2 million vs. 5.4 million).In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.3/6 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.8/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.5/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3. From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters. From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 with an encore).
