NBC Sports coverage of last night's Minnesota Vikings-Green Bay Packers "Sunday Night Football" game averaged a 14.8 rating, 23 share in metered-market households from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. ET.

The Vikings' 20-13 win over Packers that clinched the NFC North title was up +17% from the comparable Cincinnati-Pittsburgh matchup for the AFC North title last year (12.7/21).

Over 10 "Sunday Night Football" seasons, last night's 14.8/23 for Vikings-Packers tops all NBC Week 17 games other than the Dallas Cowboys' three NFC East "win-and-in" games in 2011, '12 and '13.

NBC posted year-over-year metered-market ratings increases for 13 of 19 "SNF" games this season.

Last night's 52.4/74 local rating is the Vikings' best-ever rating in Minneapolis for a regular-season "Sunday Night Football" game (including 11 VIKINGS "SNF" games since '06).

Top local ratings for the Vikings-Packers game on NBC were: Minneapolis, 52.4/74; Milwaukee, 51.2/66; Seattle, 21.8/33; Denver, 20.0/33; New Orleans, 20.0/27; Albuquerque, 19.4/28; Las Vegas, 18.6/28; Norfolk, 18.3/27; Phoenix & Richmond, 17.5/26 (tie)
