NBC's AMERICA'S GOT TALENT is Tuesday's No. 1 Show

NBC is the #1 network among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX Tuesday night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures, led by "America's Got Talent," the #1 show of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in 18-49, total viewers and other key categories.

From 9-11 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (2.5/7 in 18-49, 9.3 million viewers overall) is the #1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures, topping the #2 telecast on those nets in 18-49 by a 92% margin (with a 2.5 from 9-11 p.m. vs. the 1.3 from 8-10 for Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance"). In the 9-11 p.m. time period, "Talent" is #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC and FOX in every key ratings measure.

In the 10:30 lead-in to local news, "Talent" generated a 167% margin of victory among ABC, CBS and NBC in the key news demo of adults 25-54 (with a 3.2 rating vs. a 1.2 for CBS's #2 "Person of Interest" encore), and dominated those networks in all other key measures.

From 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Hollywood Game Night" (1.1/4 in 18-49 3.8 million viewers overall) is up 10% week to week in 18-49 rating (to a 1.1 from a 1.0) to hit a three-week high in the slot. In total viewers, "Hollywood Game Night" is up week to week by 7% (3.780 million vs. 3.533 million) to once again hit a three-week high in the slot. "Hollywood Game Night" is tied for #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in 18-49 and is #2 outright among those nets in 18-34.

"Hollywood Game Night" matched NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period in seven weeks (since "America's Got Talent" aired in the slot on June 18).


In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

With a guest appearance by President Barack Obama, "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" delivered its highest rating in metered-market households (a 3.8 rating, 10 share) for any night of the week in nine months, since Wednesday, October 24, 2012 (4.0), the night of Obama's prior appearance on the show, and highest for a Tuesday night in 21 months, since October 25, 2011 (4.1), the night of another appearance by President Obama.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Tonight" averaged a 1.2/6 in adults 18-49, the show's highest result for a Tuesday telecast since December 18, 2012, the night of the "Voice" finale.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" scored its highest Tuesday rating in metered-market households (1.7) since December 18, 2012 (1.8)

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 3.8/10; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.8/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 1.2/6; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.7/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
