NBC has delivered a decisive win for the ratings week of July 24-30 in the key demographic of adults 18-49, claiming 10 of the week's top-20 ratings among primetime shows on the Big 4 networks. NBC also won the week among those networks in total viewers and every other key ratings category.
According to "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research, NBC series that generated top-20 rankings among primetime shows on the Big 4 networks last week included: "America's Got Talent" (#1), "World of Dance" (tied for #5), "American Ninja Warrior" (#7), "The Wall" (tied for #8), Monday's premiere of "Midnight, Texas" (tied for #11), "Hollywood Game Night" (tied for #11), "The Night Shift" (tied for #15), "Little Big Shots: Forever Young" (tied for #15), "Dateline NBC" (tied for #15) and Friday's rebroadcast of "America's Got Talent" (tied for #20). In total viewers, the most-watched "Talent" of the season finished #1 for the week and "World of Dance" ranked #2. This is NBC's sixth straight weekly win in 18-49 and the network has taken five of six in total viewers. Counting just entertainment programming, NBC won the week in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, marking the ninth straight week NBC has finished as the #1 network in entertainment programming (excluding live news and sports) in 18-49 and 25-54.
