NBC Sports Announces Weekend Coverage of NASCAR SPRINT CUP & XFINITY SERIES RACING

NBC Sports Group follows up last week's fiery weekend of racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with live coverage of NASCAR Sprint Cup and XFINITY Series racing this weekend from Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The green flag drops on this weekend's main events with Saturday's XFINITY Series Lilly Diabetes 250 from Indianapolis at 3 p.m. ET on NBC, followed by Sprint Cup Racing from the Brickyard Presented by Golden Corral on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
Festivities get underway Friday on NBCSN with consecutive XFINITY Series and NASCAR Sprint Cup preliminary and final practice sessions from Noon-6 p.m. ET. On Saturday, XFINITY Series qualifying is presented on NBCSN at 11:30 a.m. ET, followed by NASCAR SPRINT CUP QUALIFYING at 1 p.m. ET. Live XFINITY Series race coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET on NBC. Host Krista Voda will anchor pre-race coverage alongside analysts Kyle Petty and Dale Jarrett, leading into race coverage, led by race announcer Rick Allen, 21-time Sprint Cup winning driver Jeff Burton, and Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte. Leading up to the Brickyard's main event, Sunday's festivities begin on NBCSN with a 60-minute edition of NASCAR AMERICA Sunday at 2 p.m. ET, followed by the Countdown to Green, Served by Sonic pre-race show at 3 p.m. ET. At 3:30 p.m. ET, coverage shifts to the broadcast booth as NBCSN presents Sprint Cup Racing from the Brickyard Presented by Golden CorralNASCAR SPRINT CUP RACE FROM NEW HAMPSHIRE RANKS AS MOST-WATCHED CABLE TELECAST OF WEEKEND WITH 3.7 MILLION VIEWERS Last Sunday's presentation of NASCAR's Sprint Cup Racing from New Hampshire ranked as the most-watched cable program of the weekend and highlighted NBCSN's triple-header weekend of racing. NBCSN posted a total day average of 593,000 viewers this past weekend - up 186% from the same weekend last year. Click here for more information. NBC SPORTS GROUP'S FORMULA ONE COVERAGE CONTINUES SATURDAY WITH THE HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX ON CNBC NBC Sports Group continues its presentation of the 2015 Formula One season this weekend, as CNBC, NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra combine to provide comprehensive coverage of the Hungarian Grand Prix, with live race coverage airing Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. ET on CNBC.
