MindOverEye, a division of TEN: The Enthusiast Network, has had visual effects work honored with an Emmy Nomination in the Outstanding Special and Visual Effects Category for FOX and National Geographic Channel's COSMOS: A SpaceTime Odyssey. The 13-part Science series is notable for its reliance on the use of special effects and animation to tell the stories of the earliest human scientists.

"It was refreshing to work on a show that actually matters," says Visual Effects Supervisor, Ergin Kuke. "Maybe one day, our children will become astronauts because of it. Big thank you to Voyager Pictures for giving us the opportunity to work on this epic project. It was tough, but worth it."

The MindOverEye team focused their visual effects efforts on creating images that fused beauty and scientific accuracy through more than 100 shots over the series that included the rendering of underwater sea life, planet and outer space simulations, and set extensions.

"We are very excited to have our contribution to this amazing show be recognized," says Paul Babb, Director of Integrated Production. "We pushed our creative boundaries on some incredibly complex and dynamic planet simulations. This nomination is a great honor for everyone involved in creating the show's visual effects."

With the award nomination, MindOverEye continues its success on projects in 2014, most recently producing several short videos that appeared in the 2014 BET Awards featuring host Chris Rock.

TEN: The Enthusiast Network's MindOverEye division has been instrumental in delivering custom solutions for advertising partners.
