Hiring of 12-Year Sony Pictures Entertainment Veteran Reflects Continued Worldwide Growth of Lionsgate's Motion Picture Operations

SANTA MONICA, Calif. and VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ Reflecting the continued globalization of the Company's motion picture business, Michael Fisk has been named Executive Vice President of International Marketing for Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF), a premier next generation global content leader, the Company announced today. He becomes a key member of the worldwide marketing and international theatrical groups.

Mr. Fisk is a 12-year veteran of Sony Pictures where he spearheaded international marketing campaigns of global blockbusters including the James Bond films Spectre, Skyfall and Casino Royale, Insidious, the Resident Evil franchise and the animated hits Hotel Transylvania and The Smurfs.

In this newly created position, Mr. Fisk will be responsible for developing international marketing strategies for all films released across Lionsgate's array of film labels. In conjunction with the international marketing team, he will work closely with international distributors in local markets and will provide creative direction and oversight for the local execution of global strategies.

Prior to joining Lionsgate, Mr. Fisk served as Senior Vice President, International Marketing at Sony Pictures Entertainment, where he led the studio's international marketing, developed its strategy and guided marketing campaigns across more than 70 territories around the world. Mr. Fisk steered worldwide marketing efforts across multiple genres and was responsible for building the company's international digital marketing team. Prior to joining Sony Pictures, he worked for MGM and NBC Universal.

Mr. Fisk received his B.S. from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Southern California (USC).

Led by the blockbuster Hunger Games and Divergent franchises, the worldwide smash Now You See Me and international box office successes including Sicario, Lionsgate's international theatrical business has grossed more than $4 billion over the past four years.
