Stan Lee shows no signs of slowing down.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the famed SPIDER-MAN and X-MEN creator is partnering with Avi Arad for a new 'secret' film project. Arad, the former head of Marvel, recently transitioned to the movie business to produce THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. He will also produce the film's proposed sequels and spin-offs.

The project, set up at Columbia, is being kept under wraps for now, though it will follow a new creation by Lee. As far as the film's billing?

"Some titles give away too much," Arad told THR.

Arad and the other producers will reportedly be meeting with potential writers soon.

Known to millions as the man whose Super Heroes propelled Marvel to its preeminent position in the comic book industry, Stan's co-creations include Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, The Fantastic Four, Iron Man, as well as hundreds of others.

He introduced Spider-Man as a syndicated newspaper strip that became the most successful of all syndicated adventure strips and has appeared in more than 500 newspapers worldwide. Stan currently remains Chairman Emeritus of Marvel, as well as a member of the Editorial Board of Marvel Comics.

Stan is currently the Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of POW! Entertainment, a multimedia entertainment company based in Beverly Hills, CA, which he founded with production partner Gill Champion and business affairs partner the late Arthur Lieberman. POW! has created numerous new characters and stories in areas including publishing, film, TV, reality, stage, documentary, and multimedia.
