Lisa Hsia has been elevated to the new position of Executive Vice President of Bravo Digital Media. The announcement was made today by Frances Berwick, President of Bravo. Based in New York, Hsia previously held the role of Senior Vice President of Bravo Digital Media since November 2005.

"Under Lisa's strategic direction, Bravo Media has become an industry leader in the digital landscape and continues to earn remarkable double-digit growth across all platforms year after year," stated Berwick. "This success has been driven by Lisa and her team's groundbreaking innovations that engage fans on a deeper level and create a more immersive viewing experience."

During her tenure at Bravo, Hsia has built Digital Media into an interactive powerhouse with numerous initiatives that serve to enhance viewer engagement. Her innovations include the Infoframe, the first technology to make both on-air programming and commercials interactive, Bravo Talk Bubble, the first real-time viewing party and social TV event, and Bravo Now, the first tablet and smart phone application that allows fans to participate in a live viewing companion experience. She has also implemented @BravoTV a Twitter Tracker and Tweet Instigator that takes social TV into a 24-7 experience and "Watch What Happens: Live," a successful online video show that became an on-air hit last year.

Since Hsia joined Bravo, unique visitors to BravoTV.com have increased by over 800 percent, while page views have also increased by more than 400 percent. In January 2011, Bravo Digital posted remarkable double-digit growth, recording its best January ever in page views, uniques and video streams. Bravo Mobile delivered its best January ever in page views and video streams.

Bravo Digital has been recognized for numerous awards, including the Technology & Engineering Emmy, Webby, Advertising Age Media Vanguard Award, Mobile Excellence Award, Mobile Marketing Association Award and five Prime Time Emmy nominations for Interactive. Televisionwithoutpity.com was identified as one of TIME magazine's "25 Sites We Can't Live Without" and EW's "Top TV Website."

Prior to joining Bravo, Hsia served as Vice President of NBC News since 2001, where she had executive oversight for the "Today" show, "Dateline" and long-form programming during 9/11 and the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. An NBC News veteran of eleven years, she previously worked for ABC News producing "Prime Time Live" from 1989-92. Hsia has been the recipient of numerous journalism awards including six News Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow awards, a Sigma Delta Chi award, an IRE award and the National Press Club's Freedom of the Press Award. Before that, Hsia was a producer and director of independent documentaries including "The Emperor's Eye: Art and Power in Imperial China" and "Made in China." She was also the producer and associate producer of two feature films, "A Great Wall" and "Old Enough," both released by Orion Classics.

Hsia currently serves on the board of the Tribeca Film Institute. She is a graduate of Harvard University and has a MBA from Columbia University Business School. Hsia lives in Manhattan with her husband and son.
