Liev Schreiber to Host PBS Comic Book Docu-Series HISTORY OF SUPERHEORES

TVGuide.com reports exclusively that Liev Schreiber is set to host a new PBS special HISTORY OF SUPERHEROES.
According to the report, the three-part series from Emmy-winning filmmaker Michael Kantor will feature "rarely seen illustrations, and in-depth commentary from legendary comics contributors and icons." The special will premiere on October 8 at 9/8c.
The series will reveal a sneak peek at this week's Comic-Con International this week in San Diego along with a panel featuring Kantor, executive producer Laurence Maslon, and comic-book gurus Gerry Conway and Kingdom Come writer Mark Waid on Friday, July 19th. The event will take place in Room 23ABC.
