
ESPN'S vice president of original content, Kevin Wildes will executive produce the new new of GMA DAY on ABC, according to Variety. GMA DAY is ABC's new effort to bring its "Good Morning America" franchise to the afternoon.
ABC is expected to launch the show, which is their effort to bring GOOD MORNING AMEICA to the afternoon, co-anchored by Michael Strahan and Sara Haines on September 10. This new hour is set to replace THE CHEW, ABC announced previously.
In a note to staff, Michael Corn, senior executive producer of GOOD MORNING AMERICA said, "Kevin is a skilled producer and brings an enormous amount of live television experience to his new role."
