Katharine McPhee to Perform on AMERICAN IDOL, 3/28

On Thursday night's AMERICAN IDOL, OneRepublic will take to the stage for a performance of "If I Lose Myself' featuring special guest, Idol alum and 'Smash' star Katharine McPhee. The episode airs Thursday, March 28th ((8:00-9:00PM ET/PT on FOX.

McPhee placed #2 in Season Five of the reality series, ultimately losing out to champion Taylor Hicks. She went on to a successful solo pop career and currently stars on the NBC musical dramedy Smash.

This week on Idol, the remaining eight contestants will pay tribute to "The Music of The Motor City," performing songs centered on the city of Detroit. On the next live results show on Thursday March 28th; American Idol will celebrate its 450th episode! Tune in to see who does not make the cut after America's vote is revealed live!
