KNOCK KNOCK, IT'S TIG NOTARO to Bow Next Month on Showtime

By:
The Showtime documentary KNOCK KNOCK, IT'S TIG NOTARO, focused on the famed comedian, will premiere on Friday, April 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, following its debut at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival on Monday, March 16. The film follows Notaro's travels as she embraces her most loyal fans by creating unique and intimate comedy experiences in their homes, backyards, barns, and basements.

KNOCK KNOCK , IT'S TIG NOTARO will make its festival debut at SXSW in Austin, TX on Monday, March 16 at 11 a.m. at the Alamo Ritz, followed by a Q&A with the comedian. Subsequent screening times include Tuesday, March 17 at 7 p.m. at the Rollins Theatre at The Long Center and Wednesday, March 18 at 10 p.m. at the Satellite Venue: Alamo Slaughter.

KNOCK KNOCK , IT'S TIG NOTARO follows a unique road trip across the country where Notaro frees herself from the grind of the comedy circuit and performs for her fans in the most intimate, exclusive and bizarre settings. Each show has the potential to be an epiphany or a disaster, yet she eagerly dives into the chaos time and time again - embracing all of the awkwardness, adventure, and occasionally weird energy along the way. After enduring a series of crises and personal tragedies, the resilient Notaro takes this opportunity to celebrate and laugh at life itself. KNOCK KNOCK , IT'S TIG NOTARO is produced by Left/Right. Executive Producers include Ken Druckerman, Banks Tarver, Tig Notaro, and Hunter Seidman. Michael LaHaie and Christopher Wilcha serve as Co-Directors.
