James Gandolfini Set for EATING WITH THE ENEMY

According to Deadline.com, stage veteran James Gandolfini is on board for HBO Films' 'Eating with the Enemy.' Gandolfini will play 'Egan, owner of a Hackensack rib joint who became involved in back channel negotiations with North Korea to stop producing nuclear weapons' as described by Deadline.

The film will be produced by Tribeca Productions and Atta Boy Productions.

James Gandolfini is best known for his performance as Tony Soprano in HBO's "The Sopranos" for which he received a Golden Globe, four SAG Awards and three Emmy Awards. He made his Broadway debut when he appeared with Jessica Lange and Alec Baldwin in A Streetcar Named Desire.

His numerous film credits include Romance & Cigarettes; The Man Who Wasn't There; The Castle; The Mexican; Get Shorty, the upcoming The Taking of Pelham 1, 2, 3, Where The Wild Things Are and In the Loop. He returned to the stage in 2009, appearing in Broadway's God of Carnage with Marcia Gay Harden, Hope Davis and Jeff Daniels.
