JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE's Brooklyn Shows Soar to 7-Month Highs in Total Viewers

With its late-night lineup of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" at 11:35 p.m. and "Nightline" at 12:35 a.m. during the week of October 19, 2015, ABC grew to season highs, building over the prior week by 22% in Total Viewers (2.397 million vs. 1.961 million) to its biggest overall audience in 7 months and by 25% in Adults 18-49 (734,000 vs. 585,000) to its best performance in 4 months - since the weeks of 3/16/15 and 6/8/15, respectively.
ABC improved over its performance in late-night during the same week last year (716,000 and 2.392 million, respectively, on week of 10/20/14) in Adults 18-49 (+3%), while holding even in Total Viewers. • ABC ranked as the week's No. 1 network in late-night in Total Viewers (2.397 million) and Adults 18-49 (764,000). "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (M-F 11:35 p.m.)Broadcasting from Brooklyn, New York during the week of October 19, 2015, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" delivered its largest overall audience since airing from Austin, Texas 7 months ago (since w/o 3/16/15), growing over the prior week by 25% in Total Viewers (2.776 million vs. 2.216 million). "Kimmel" also shot up week to week by 29% in Adults 18-49 (847,000 vs. 656,000) to a 4-month high - since w/o 6/8/15. In fact, excluding only the NBA finals-led week in June, "Kimmel" delivered its best performance among young adults since early March - since w/o 3/9/15. "Kimmel" improved on its performance during the show's first visit to Brooklyn 3 years ago (2.298 million and 857,000, respectively, on w/o 10/29/12) by 21% in Total Viewers and was steady in Adults 18-49.
In its first 5 days (10/22-10/26/15), the "Marty McFly & Doc Brown Visit Jimmy" video generated 13.6 million video views (13,582,784) on the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Youtube Channel, making it the 2nd-most-watched clip this year on the Channel, behind only the "Mean Tweets - President Obama Edition" video in March.
ABC's "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in its 12:35 a.m. time slot in Total Viewers (1.600 million) during the week of October 19, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" beat CBS's "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.154 million) by 446,000 and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers (1.485 million) by 115,000 to take the top spot for the first time this season. "Nightline" posted week to week increases (1.438 million, 576,000 and 439,000 for w/o 10/12/15) in Total Viewers (+11%), Adults 25-54 (+9%) and Adults 18-49 (+13%) to hit season highs and scored its strongest numbers in 4 months - since weeks of 6/8/15, 6/15/15 and 6/15/15, respectively. "Nightline" aired the week's No. 1 12:35 a.m. telecast in Total Viewers (1.834 million on Thursday, 10/22/15), beating every telecast of the week of CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers."
