HISTORY will premiere the six-hour special event series, THE WORLD WARS, on three consecutive nights beginning Memorial Day, May 26 at 9PM ET/PT, continuing Tuesday, May 27 at 9PM ET/PT and concluding Wednesday, May 28 at 9PM ET/PT. Later this summer, the three-part series will also premiere on H2 and in more than 160 countries across the globe.

THE WORLD WARS tells the story of three devastating decades of war told through the eyes of the powerful men who held the fate of humankind in their hands; men like Roosevelt, Hitler, Patton, Mussolini, Churchill, Tojo, DeGaulle and MacArthur. The series examines the two wars as one contiguous timeline starting in 1914 and concluding in 1945 with these unique individuals coming of age in World War I before ultimately making some of the toughest decisions in the history of mankind in World War II.

The stories will be told through the original style HISTORY and Stephen David Entertainment developed on the Emmy(R) Award-winning THE MEN WHO BUILT America using state of the art CGI, dramatic scenes and contributors like Senator John McCain, General Colin Powell, Leon Panetta, Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti, British Prime Minister John Major and more.

THE WORLD WARS was filmed in the US and Europe and will be broadcast on both HISTORY and H2 in the US and internationally throughout the summer in more than 160 countries. It will also premiere on France Televisions and Germany's N24, and other broadcasters to be named.

In addition to the series, HISTORY and H2 are developing a global educational outreach campaign that will be geared toward high school and college students throughout the world.

THE WORLD WARS is produced by Stephen David Entertainment for HISTORY. Russ McCarroll, Paul Cabana and Elaine Frontain Bryant are Executive Producers for HISTORY. Stephen David serves as Executive Producer for Stephen David Entertainment.
