Pepper Potts may be sitting the next AVENGERS adventure out.

In a recent interview with Hitflix, Gwyneth Paltrow confirmed that she has not been asked to appear alongside IRON MAN's Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and more in Joss Whedon's follow-up film.

She told the site: "I don't think so. Nobody has asked me. What is it called? Age of Ultron? Okay. Well, no, I don't think [I'll be in it]. I haven't heard any...my phone has not rung for Avengers 2....I think it's a for sure. I think they're starting shooting soon and they probably would have asked me by now."

The upcoming sequel will feature favorites from the first "Avengers" film and new Marvel characters never before seen on the big screen, including Ultron himself, set to be played by James Spader.

Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit theaters on May 1, 2015.

Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger," "Marvel's The Avengers" is the superhero team up of a lifetime. In the 2012 film, when an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as SHIELD, finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.
