As we approach the four-month anniversary of Hurricane Sandy, more than a dozen area schools are still without simple supplies. At least ten are still in need of classroom furniture. Come join us in a performance of two award-winning solo shows set in the backdrop of high school that celebrate love, loss, and starting over: Love. Guts. High School. and Salamander Starts Over.

This one-night-only performance takes place at Soho Playhouse, 15 Vandam Street (btw Varick and 6th Ave), NYC. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at www.sohoplayhouse.com
Proceeds of the event go to benefit the AASA (American Association of School Administrators) in their efforts to aid ailing school communities still struggling in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Super-highschooler Jeanette achieves everything she sets her mind to........except for love. Traveling from 8th grade awkwardness to 90210-style sexuality, her biggest crush quickly goes from "like-like" to obsession. See what happens when Jeanette stops listening to her Magic 8 Ball and starts listening to her heart in the solo show Love. Guts. High School.

The words every teenage punk dreads: ALL-BOYS CATHOLIC SCHOOL. But this isn't your average preparatory education. Eccentric teachers. Militant coaches. Dance-fighting students. Add these with the love of a Cuban mother, and see how Salamander Starts Over.
