New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will make his long-awaited first visit to the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Monday, Feb. 4 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Gov. Christie, the outspoken 55th and current Governor of New Jersey, was elected to The Office in November 2009 and has gained attention on the national stage for delivering the keynote address at the 2012 Republican National Convention and for his response to the devastation throughout his state following Hurricane Sandy. Letterman has made Gov. Christie and his weight the brunt of many a joke on the LATE SHOW. Regarding the jokes about his weight by Letterman and other comedians, the Governor said at a press conference in October 2011, "I think, for me, their job is to be funny, and if one of the things they want to make fun of is my weight, then, you know, it's fair game. I'm a public figure, so they can make fun of it. All I care about is that they actually are funny, you know, so that I can at least laugh about it while they're mocking me."Videos
