Deadline writes that Screen Gems has grabbed the U.S. distribution rights to Burr Steers' film adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's book PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES, a spin on Jane Austen's classic romance novel.

Not only that, but GAME OF THRONES' stars Charles Dance and Lena Headey have also signed on for the project.

Dance and Headey join Lily James, Sam Riley, Bella Heathcoate, Jack Huston, Douglas Booth, Suki Waterhouse and just-announced Doctor Who star Matt Smith in the cast.

In the book, "Liz Bennett (James), is pressured by her family to marry into a wealthy upper-class home and chafes at the stiff societal ways of 1800s England. Instead, she feels that she should help defend the countryside against the onslaught of a horrifying zombie plague."

Sony Pictures Worldwide will distribute the movie in Latin America, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and Iceland; the feature is also being shopped around to other international territories.

Dance plays 'Tywin Lannister' in HBO's Game of Thrones and will next appear on the big screen in Child 44, Despite the Falling Snow, Woman in Gold, The Admiral and Deadline Gallipoli.

Headey stars as Tywin's daughter 'Cersei Lannister' in Game of Thrones. Her upcoming projects include Zipper, Jacqueline Ess and The Mortal Instruments: City of Ashes. She recently appeared in 300: Rise of an Empire, Low Down, and the first Moral Instruments movie.
