According to Deadline, GAME OF THRONES' Emilia Clarke and THE HUNGER GAMES' Sam Claflin are in talks to lead MGM's film adaptation of Jojo Moyes' best-selling novel ME BEFORE YOU. Thea Sharrock will direct.

The project "tells the story of Lou, a small-town girl caught between dead-end jobs, and Will, a success all his life who finds himself wheelchair-bound after an accident. He finds no reason to live until they meet when he hires her as his caretaker for six months, and she becomes determined to prove to him life is worth living. They head for a series of adventures together, which changes each of them."

ME BEFORE YOU is slated for an August 2015 release.

Clarke is well known for her portrayal of 'Daenerys Targaryen' in the Game of Thrones TV series and just made her first foray onto the Broadway stage in Breakfast at Tiffany's last year. She will also play the iconic role of Sarah Connor in the upcoming TERMINATOR reboot, set to hit theaters on July 1, 2015.

After breaking out in his role as the romantic lead in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES, Claflin starred in the box office smash SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN playing Prince William alongside Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth. He currently appears in THE HUNGER GAMES series as 'Finnick.'
