THE BIG BANG THEORY's Jim Parsons received the 2013 Emmy for Outsanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series at tonight's telecast.

The much-lauded actor beat out Alec Baldwin on 30 ROCK, Jason Bateman on ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, Louis CK in LOUIE, Don Cheadle in HOUSE OF LIES, and Matt LeBlanc in EPISODES.

Below, check out Parsons' acceptance speech!

Jim Parsons: "My heart, oh, my heart. Boy, I want you to know that I am very aware of how exceedingly fortunate I am first to have the chance to do this role in this show. Thank you Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady, Steve Molaro. Secondly, to be here, to be a part of such a phenomenal group of people and for seemingly happenstance reason to be up here right now. Thank you so much. It's so silly to be emotional, isn't it? I do want to real quickly give a shout out to our magnificent director Mark Cendrowski. You are such a part of my everyday routine. To our wonderful cast, Johnny, Kaley, Simon, Kunal, Melissa, Mayim. CBS and Warner Bros., you've been such wonderful supporters through this whole exciting journey. Do you know what? I will. I will wrap it up. I love my manager, Marcia McMahon as my agent, and my favorite person on earth, Todd Spiewak. Thank you all. Thank you very much."
