DreamWorks Pictures Announces Start of Principal Photography on OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY

DreamWorks Pictures today announced that principal photography has commenced on the ensemble comedy "OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY," directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck ("BLADES OF GLORY," "THE SWITCH"). The film is shooting in Atlanta, with additional filming having already taken place in Chicago.

The film stars Jennifer Aniston ("MOTHER'S DAY," "HORRIBLE BOSSES 1 & 2"), Jason Bateman ("ZOOTOPIA," "HORRIBLE BOSSES 1 & 2"), Olivia Munn ("X-MEN: APOCALYPSE," "RIDE ALONG 2"), T.J. Miller ("DEADPOOL," "Silicon Valley"), Kate McKinnon ("GHOSTBUSTERS," "Saturday Night Live"), Jillian Bell ("22 JUMP STREET," "Workaholics"), Courtney B. Vance ("The People vs. OJ Simpson: AMERICAN CRIME Story," "TERMINATOR GENISYS"), Vanessa Bayer ("TRAINWRECK," "Saturday Night Live"), Rob Corddry ("HOT TUB TIME MACHINE," "Ballers"), Randall Park ("TRAINWRECK," "Fresh Off the Boat"), Abbey Lee ("MAD MAX: FURY ROAD," "GODS OF EGYPT"), Sam Richardson ("SPY," "WE'RE THE MILLERS") and Jamie Chung ("Once Upon a Time," "BIG HERO 6").

Laura Solon ("Hot in Cleveland") wrote the most recent draft of the script. Bluegrass Films' Scott Stuber ("IDENTITY THIEF," "TED 1 & 2"), and Entertainment 360's Guymon Casady ("STEVE JOBS," "Game of Thrones") and Daniel Rappaport ("OFFICE SPACE") will produce, with Gordon, Speck, Richard Vane and Beau Bauman executive producing.

In "OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY," when the CEO tries to close her hard-partying brother's branch, he and his Chief Technical Officer must rally their co-workers and host an epic office Christmas party in an effort to impress a potential client and close a sale that will save their jobs.

The DreamWorks Pictures production will open in U.S. theaters on December 9, 2016. Paramount Pictures is distributing the film in the U.S. and several international territories while Mister Smith Entertainment will oversee distribution in Europe, AFRICA and the Middle East. Reliance Entertainment will distribute the film in India.
