SONS OF ANARCHY's Drea de Mateo is headed to MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC, according to Entertainment Weekly.

de Mateo will take on the role of "Karla Faye Gideon, a gifted woman with a grudge to bear against S.H.I.E.L.D., who joins forces with Skye's father, Cal (Kyle MacLachlan). Daredevil fans may recognize the supporting character name, though in the comics, Karla did not possess any powers. It's all connected?"

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns for a dynamic, action-packed second half of season two, with Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) - the keeper of the secrets - charged with rebuilding S.H.I.E.L.D. in the wake of the events of "Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier," where it was revealed that evil Hydra agents had infiltrated and crippled the peace-keeping organization.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Nick Blood as Lance Hunter and Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." was co-created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, who also serve as executive producers along with Jeph Loeb and Jeffrey Bell. "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television, and is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.
